=[ Used to be people could share seed names for bunker locations and such. Does this spawn new traders or just let you know where they all are? Also I tried deleting a save and then making the same name over again. Now, all traders close at 23:59 and open at 00:01, so youll hear 'trader joels is now closed' then immediately after 'trader joels is now open.' So essentially theyll be closed for a split second at midnight, so youll be teleported out but youll. Thats a neat cheat but I'm sure Id find a way to screw that up somehow lol. This mod is not opted-in to receive Donation Points. When quest #8 pops up (sending you to the trader) you will get the closest trader. Make sure when you get to quest #7 that you are very far from where the first trader is (kilometers away) then finish quest 7. Then make the game again, new with the same seed/name. Find the folder for the world you want to find other traders in and move it to your Documents folder (or somewhere you know you'll find it again). Get a 15 better deal buying and selling with traders. You act like a sales manager and have authority to cut the best deals. Get a 10 better deal buying and selling with traders. Go into the Saves folder (on my computer it is in: C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves). You must have been a salesman before the apocalypse with the kind of good deals you find. And yes again I've down multiple New games and it always leads to the Desert with no trader or building where they should be. ether the trader is underground which is unlikely or I'm standing where the trader should be. Nothing but Desert and to top it off the waypoint is point down. If you altered the folder name, restore the folder name to its original. When you have found as many traders as you want, return the first (or whichever one you most want) world-save-folder to the 7DaysToDie\Saves folder where you got it from. Obviously if you choose to save the new version rather than just deleting it, the various world-save-folders will need to have their names modified to keep track of them. Repeat as many times as you can stand to find the traders but now just deleting the world-save-folder from the 7DaysToDie\Saves folder. Go into the Saves folder (on my computer it is in: C:\Users\owner\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves). Will I focus on Barter and better rewards? Only if I find a wrench AND the trader has steel to sell. I pretty much treat the Trader as an RNG decision. If I'm lucky enough to find a wrench early on and the trader has steel I can buy to fix the wrench then it's happy times. If the trader has forged steel to sell, I usually prioritize doing the quests for the dukes. I've played about a dozen games so far up to day 7 and I'm maybe 50/50 on being able to build a bike before day 7 and without a bike I find the quests a waste of time that I'd rather spend on food & resources. If I don't find a wrench I usually have nothing to sell the 1st week. Many items (such as clothes, brass doorknobs, and lead trophies) sell for more tokens than. The amount of tokens needed or received from trading depends on the players Bartering skill. They can be collected by Looting or by selling items to the NPC Traders. The only things I find to sell (by that I mean, things I'm willing to sell instead of horde) are canned food, extra clothing and anything I can wrench. The Dukes Casino Tokens are used to buy items from Traders at settlements. I play 90 min days and I'm finding the quests a little far off during the first 7 days for me to manage them and get enough food/resources so I've been skipping the trader. Just curious about how everyone is using the traders.
